I am a retired high school art teacher originally from Maryland. My husband, Dan, and I moved to the Sarasota, Florida area in 2014. We enjoyed being in Florida with its beautiful waters, wildlife, and lush flora.

Florida’s sun, sea, and colors were an inspiration to me and the environment made a great impact on my work. After eight year, we were missing our children and grandchildren, and decided to move back to Maryland.

So many aspects in life bring inspiration to my work. My husband and I have always been interested in antiques. We often attend auctions and flea markets where we find obscure, rusty, vintage pieces. These items may be overlooked by many, but it’s the old forgotten and worn fragments of the past that continue to inspire and influence my work.
